Hi, I’m Thu Do (/too-doe/). I’m a visual development artist and illustrator based in Detroit, Michigan. I specialize in visual development work for 2D digital animation with a focus on backgrounds, character designs, and digital illustrations.

I recently graduated from College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Entertainment Arts: Animation and a minor in Illustration. During my studies I independently created and collaborated on various projects. Professionally, I have freelanced for Vinamilk (a leading dairy corporation) where I created packaging designs for their new rebrand.

My work often explores themes of childhood and individuality, aiming to capture personable and relatable moments that correspond to my own experience. I am passionate about storytelling in all mediums, whether through films, illustrations or other formats.

During my free time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, spending time with my friends and drinking good iced coffees.
